“Har Ghar Tiranga” is more than a campaign — it is a celebration of identity, unity, and patriotism. Launched under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, it encourages every citizen to bring the Tiranga (Indian National Flag) into their homes, hoist it with pride, and reflect on the values of freedom, democracy, and diversity.

Why It Matters?

• Reconnect with the Symbol: The Tiranga isn’t just cloth and colour — it embodies sacrifice, unity, and our shared values. This movement turns a formal symbol into a personal expression of pride.
• Strengthen National Unity: Across different cultures, geographies, and walks of life, joining under one flag fosters mutual respect, identity, and a sense of belonging.
• Empower Communities: The campaign supports Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and local artisans in producing flags, involving them in meaningful work, boosting livelihoods, and ensuring availability in both urban and remote areas.
• Educate & Inspire: It’s also about understanding: learning the Flag Code of India, respecting the etiquette around hoisting/displaying the flag, appreciating our history, and passing those values to younger generations.
